Zac Posen Is The Latest Designer To Speak Out Against The Idea Of Dressing The First Lady

Melania Trump is an absolutely a classy lady. Thank god for her She will be an asset to this administration and to our country for we have needed for all too long.

Unfortunately, some designers don’t appreciate our new first family and attack them constantly the last attack came from Zac Posen!

Zac Posen is the latest designer to speak out against the idea of dressing the First Lady.

“[I have] no current plans to dress members of the first family,” he told The Daily Beast. “Right now, I’m staying away from bringing my brand into politics.

The fashion battle lines have been drawn, says Zac Posen, the popular designer whose looks have graced hundreds of celebrities, starlets and politicians. In a new interview with Daily Beast, Posen says he has no intention of designing for Melania Trump or Ivanka Trump.

There are issues that are being questioned that are fundamentally upsetting to me — deeply: LGBT rights, immigration, funding for the arts, Planned Parenthood, and women’s rights.

These are just issues that are very close to my heart, and I use my own private voice and funds to fight for them and in support of them.

I think it’s important to use your voice.

I think that every brand and person has a right to be vocal. … I am very upset with the state of affairs right now. I always try to be optimistic. I think freedom will prevail. And I don’t dictate who buys my clothing in a store.”

While multiple fashion designers have come out refusing to dress Melania Trump, some said it would be “an honor” to do so for the next first lady.

Ralph Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld are both working with Trump on their outfits. Ralph Lauren, one of the most iconic American designers, dressed Melania Trump during the 2016 election.

Designers such as Zac Posen should stop attacking our first lady!

I didn’t see or hear an attack here. I disagree with his politics but as an American, he has every right to stand and work for what he believes. That is the American way. If I choose to take a stand based on my faith, that is what makes America great. I should Be praised not punished. If I choose to oppose something I believe is wrong, I should not be punished. It is not my right as an American to make anyone else support my view.
If someone breaks the law, that is a different thing. I cannot slander or assault someone because their view is different from mine. My rights end where yours begin. You can oppose his views, but he has a right to them, just like you have a right to yours.
Besides, if all Mrs. Trump’s clothes were designed by Ralph Lauren, she will look glorious and classy all the time. You can’t beat that, and I’ll bet she’d be perfectly happy with her wardrobe. I don’t hear her complaining.

Your proofreaders, if any, deserve a pay cut for not doing their jobs. So many missed punctuations and run-together sentences that distract from your message. Respect for your work would prove immensely helpful.

Is this guy for real? First, does he think he is the only designer in the world? Second, if he takes a good look at Trump ladies, they don’t need designers to look beautiful, it’s rather the dress will look
more beautiful on them. The Trump ladies enhance the beauty of clothes and not the other way around.
