Maybe The Crowd Didn’t React As Trump Expected But Here’s Why Trump Took A Jab At DeSantis (Video)

Ron DeSantis is the latest politician to fall victim to one of Trump’s famous nicknames.

In times past Trump has coined Low Energy Jeb, Sleepy Joe, Crooked Hillary, Little Marco Rubio, and the list goes on and on.

During last night’s rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Trump surprisingly gave Ron DeSantis the nickname “Ron DeSanctimonious”.

“We’re winning big in the Republican Party for the nomination like nobody’s ever seen before,” Trump told a crowd in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night before going down the list of other Republicans who could potentially challenge him in 2024.

“There it is, Trump at 71%, Ron DeSanctimonious at 10%,” Trump told the crowd while reading the approval numbers of various Republicans.

“Mike Pence at 7, oh, Mike is doing better than I thought,” Trump continued. “Liz Cheney there’s no way she’s at 4%. There’s no way. There’s no way. But we’re at 71 to 10 to 7 to 4.”

Video below:

I dunno, it didn’t seem to hit. You can tell he wanted an audience reaction but he didn’t get one.

The great Ronald Reagan said that Republicans should never disparage each other. This was not a good moment.

Donald Trump shouldn’t have launched a public attack against the most popular conservative governor in America three days before the midterms when we’re all supposed to be showing a united front.”
But this raises a major question, does Trump know something about DeSantis that we don’t?

Neocons and NeverTrumpers might have been plotting to use DeSantis to thwart Trump, get their foot back in the door, and destroy MAGA.

As much as I like DeSantis his behavior lately is not at his best when it comes to confronting RINOs and Globalists!

With Paul Ryan, Lincoln Project, and Jeb Bush coming out in support of DeSantis 2024, and Ron, sitting there quiet as a church mouse, not saying a word, it’s more clear than ever that something is going on behind the scenes.

The problem with Ron isn’t how he’s running Florida, it’s that he’s not showing loyalty to the guy who helped him win a REALLY tight race.

And if you don’t believe me, maybe you’ll listen to Richard Baris, one of the most well-respected pollsters in the business and one of the brightest minds in politics.

Trump is making a massive mistake attacking DeSantis! He will only hurt himself! I voted for Trump in 2016, and in 2020, and will vote for him again in 2024, but I am also voting “enthusiastically” for DeSantis on Tuesday as well, and I expect one day to vote for him again for President, hopefully in 2028! So Pres. Trump, don’t cut your own throat. Attack RINO’s and democrats, but don’t alienate Republican voters. You just might cause some to stay home in 2024 if you keep it up!

I voted for Trump twice and will do so again if able. That said, we don’t have to guess that his ego and big mouth will be his downfall; it’s already been proven. Trump vs. Biden should have been a bigger victory than Trump vs. Hillary. Don’t blame cheating — the victory for Trump should have been so large that the questionable votes would not have mattered. Think about Biden, who couldn’t get 6 cars to a rally, and couldn’t put an intelligent 4 words together, beating Donald Trump! Ronald Reagan was just as vilified by the media as Trump was; I witnessed it. But his policies, class and thick skin won him 2 terms. Would that Trump had the self-effacing humor and humility as the greatest President in my 76 years – Ronaldus Magnus.

Trump, you have got to learn to shut your mouth with the cute pet names. DeSantis is beloved as you are but he is a fantastic governor who could possibly beat you. Leave him alone!

I will vote for DeSantis in 2028 but not 2024 unless Trump does not run. DeSantis is not the saint you guys paint him to be. His days in Congress had issues and they continue. He is way too close to some of the unsavory elements of the GOP that continuously attack Trump. Anyway here’s a short list I found on line:

Ron DeSantis in 2024 is Jeb Bush + Ted Cruz in 2016.

  • Five Days in Bunker following Mar-a-Lago Raid 8/9/22
  • No expressed support for Donald Trump following Mar-a-Lago raid 8/9/22.
  • New brand image consulting team 8/14/22
  • New communications team 8/14/22
  • National advertising campaign
  • 94% billionaire and corporate funding
  • Raised $200+ million for state governor race?
  • Cancels Lee Zeldin fundraiser after meeting with New York real estate donor who supports Hochul
  • Endorsed by Club For Growth (C4G)
  • Voted to support TPP trade agreement and Obama Fast Track trade authorization
  • Supports all Ukraine funding and U.S. government spending in Ukraine
  • Endorsed Florida Red Flag Laws, most firearm confiscation of any state
  • Silent over the 100 Florida citizen J6 detainees (largest number in nation)
  • Asked legislature to criminalize boycotts of Israeli companies, including pharmaceutical companies
  • No support for E-verify system or employment law against illegal alien hires
  • Endorsed by Paul Ryan
  • Endorsed by Jeb Bush

Sooner or later people have to admit the obvious.

Ken Griffin, the head of Citadel, just publicly admitted that he is purchasing DeSantis for his goals. DeSantis is being positioned as the Donor guy and Trump is just doing enough to highlight it. DeSantis is not stupid and is not openly working against Trump because he knows Trump has the base and his career will spiral if he goes against America First.

Frankly, me thinks Trump and DeSantis are working together behind the scenes. As they should be.

Let’s talk about that DeSantis video ad. What are they doing telling others that God sent them? Did God tell him this? Did he get that in writing or on video? That’s the kind of ad that usually comes out of the Democrat playbook. It’s wasn’t a good look to put yourself on a pedestal like that. That is for 3rd party/others to do. It’s not a Christian thing to do and looks really bad. I realize that others say these things and even Trump in his rallies, but in an Ad? BAD Ju Ju. God fearing people do not like that kind of thing.
