Harris County Deputies Take Out Shooter In Middle Of Drive-By

Houston, Texas – Deputies shot and killed a man outside of a northeast Harris County bar after they say he was firing his weapon in the parking lot.

According to Click2Houston,  three Harris County deputies were working security at Johnny B’s Outlaw Saloon in the 12700 block of Woodforest Blvd.  A fight broke out in the parking lot, and then a man drove up in a blue Cadillac and opened fire. It’s not clear at this time who he was shooting at.

Three Harris County deputies ordered him to drop the gun, and when he continued to fire, the deputies gave him a premium leaded fill-up. The 27-year-old man was found dead inside the Cadillac.

The three deputies were placed on administrative leave.  A large number of witnesses were present at the time.

“We just heard shots, and we were with friends and went behind the brick wall,” Banda said. “I told them to stay right there and wait till the gunshots were over.”

Nobody besides the shooter was reportedly hurt during this incident. It’s not clear if the passenger was arrested after he was detained.
