Tom Brady Doesn’t Support Teammates Who Boycott The Visit To The White House
Six New England Patriots players have a message for the Trump White House: We’re just not that into you.
Since the team won a historic fifth Super Bowl with a stunning come-from-behind victory over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime on February 5th, a growing number of players on the team have told the press that they would turn down an invite to commemorate their victory at the White House.
And while some have not explicitly cited President Donald Trump and his policies as the reason — some have — and the number of players planning to boycott a future photo-op is unprecedented compared to years past.
But as Independent Journal Review notes, Tom Brady may have thrown some shade for his skipping teammates with this Instagram post.
It’s not clear if Brady, who is a friend of President Donald Trump, meant it for his teammates.
Personally, I had rather a group of military heroes be honored at the Whitehouse than a bunch of football players.
They are football players.
Professional football is paid entertainment. I can say that Tom is definitely different from his team-mates but still as a team this is a disgrace! They should be honored to visit the White House but instead, they do this shameful act!

You do realize that Tom Brady boycotted the 2015 trip to the White House.
You are not invited because of your political beliefs or your race you were invited because you are the champions of the world in the NFL! As TB said it is an honor to be asked and put politics aside and show up as champions that you are as a team! Class act TB#12
