Gov. Jerry Brown Asks President Trump For Aid

In December, Gov. Jerry Brown asserted California’s independence and blasted President Donald Trump for dismissing climate change.

Now the governor turned to his potential nemesis for help — specifically, asking the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to declare a major disaster after the state was hammered by storms, floods, and mudslides.

It really amazes me that Governor Jerry Brown would have the audacity to ask for federal money after making such a complete fool out of himself!

Pertaining to the sanctuary cities and talking about California succeeding from the union!
Brown formally requested the declaration for the series of storms striking the state between Jan. 3 and Jan. 12.

Heavy rains, winds, and snow, particularly in Northern California, left eight people dead and knocked out power to an estimated 1 million Californian homes and businesses without power.

“The impacts associated with this series of storms were substantial and widespread, devastating much of California,” Brown wrote.

JUST LAST WEEK CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR JERRY BROWN WAS THREATENING TO LEAVE THE UNITED STATES AND FORM A NEW NATION. Now he is doing this?

The presidential declaration is a step toward freeing up federal money to supplement other public funds for cleanup efforts. Brown estimated that the public cleanup in California will cost more than $162 million.

Maybe Jerry need to quit giving all your money to illegals, then you would have money!

Trump granted a similar request last month from Oregon, another blue state, which suffered from a severe winter storm before Christmas.
Then throw in the ruling of the Ninth Circuit Court (located in CA) this last week which blocked Trump’s Travel Ban and put the country at risk and now President Trump has a decision to make.

President Trump will almost certainly provide aide if it is needed in the state as it is the right thing to do but Californians should be careful about viciously attacking the President and then turning around and asking for a handout.

There obviously are too many non legal immigrants n that State. California is a problem and always has been!. Clean the swamp, send illegals back to where they come from. Enter legally, period!
America cannot afford the absolute abuse called usury!.

They are lucky President Trump is a good man. He knows that not all Californians are as stupid as the ones like Jerry Brown and the Hollywood people. He will probably help them, but you really couldn’t blame him if he didn’t. After all, they want to secede from the nation. If that happens, they would get no government assistance.

I hope Trump don’t give into Jerry Brown and give Aid to California. They want to be a sanctuary City, then let them. Because Jerry wants to give all the money to non legal immigrants. Who knows what he’s doing with all the monies. People in Calif. have to work a lot of hours just to get by. Jerry always has his hands out for more, that why there taxes are so high. I know Trump will give him the money to help them out because he’s a good man and doesn’t want everyone to suffer because of California,. Government and Hollywood stupidity. That’s my views and I’m sticking to it all.
