Thug Picked The Wrong Restaurant – Surveillance Video Shows Why You Don’t Rob A Texan While He’s Trying To Enjoy His Tacos

A customer shot and killed a suspected robber at a Mexican restaurant in Houston late Thursday night, officials said.

According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened at The Ranchito #4 around 11:30 p.m.

Witnesses told police that a man in a ski mask entered the restaurant and pointed a pistol at customers, demanding their money. As the suspect collected money, one of the customers pulled out his own gun and shot the suspect multiple times, killing him, police said.

The shooter then retrieved all the stolen money from the robber and returned the money to the other customers before fleeing the scene.
Video below:

The witnesses inside the restaurant say that the hero was armed legally.

The gun wasn’t even real!

This criminal mastermind lost his life by waving around a fake gun for taco money.

Investigators have not identified the suspect or the person they said killed him.

When first responders arrived, they pronounced the robbery suspect dead on the scene. Police said he was a man in his 20s, but his identity is pending verification.

But if this good citizen is reading this: You’ve got to make a statement to the police, my man!

Police said all the customers, including the shooter, left before officers arrived at the scene.

“It would be great if they would come back to the scene and talk to us or call HPD homicide,” said Houston Police Lt. R. Willkens. “They need to give us their statements especially the individual who did the shooting and left.”

Even in Texas, you can’t just shoot a bad guy and then flee the scene!!

You gotta make a statement to the police (if you have carry insurance, and you should have carry insurance, their legal representatives can assist, especially in leftwing areas that would love to use you as an excuse to destroy the Second Amendment).

Police said the shooter’s vehicle is a 1970s or 1980s red model pickup truck with a rusted hood and no bed.(Houston Police Department)

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the shooter. No charges have been filed.

“Investigators want to speak with the man for his role in the shooting,” police said in a news release.

Police released surveillance images of the customer they are seeking, as well as his vehicle – a 1970s or 1980s red model pickup truck with a rusted hood and no bed.

Dude screwed up by leaving the scene. That showed that he thought what he did wasn’t right. When he is interviewed by the police, that will be used against him. It’s a shame that people can’t take responsibility for their actions, whether honorable or not.

It showed he’s a free man who exercised his Constitutional rights and doesn’t need to explain himself. The video says it all. What further statement can he make?

Hanging around could get him in trouble with an anxious DA.

By taking responsibility, you mean begging the government’s forgiveness. I strongly disagree. Law abiding citizens do not need to explain themselves to the government.

That showed that he thought what he did wasn’t right.

Wrong as hell; it showed he knew doing the right thing will land you in jail in today’s sick climate.

Look at that truck. It won’t take very long to identify the patron who shot the perp.

I’m thinkin’ the shooter just might not be eligible to carry a firearm for some reason and could wind up on the wrong side of an arrest warrant! You don’t protect yourself and members of the public and then just disappear into the woodwork!

Here’s what the “new new deal” and “ending poverty as we know it” LBJ’s welfare law with the resulting “welfare state” done to the poor. Good job, Democrats.

Vigilante Justice. If law enforcement wants to be of some use they can start giving Citizen Committees the names & locations of predators.

I totally recognize the shooter (hero) who did what every law abiding citizen wants done. I’m 100% sure it’s Donald Duck and if the police are stupid enough to charge him with a crime, I’d absolve him as a juror.

There can’t be more than a couple hundred old Ford trucks matching that description in the Houston area, and not more than a couple thousand old bald guys that like Mexican food. The cops have the video, what more do they need? Do they want to buy the citizen a box of ammunition?

Sorry, but if you study the video, this “hero” endangered the customer sitting across the room. That other customer was directly in the line-of-fire. A miss or a round passing
through the perp would have struck him.
