Rare Flintstones Commercial Proves How Censored America Has Become
The reality is, we are losing all our rights. We used to be a country with more rights than any other country in the world. Now we have to wait for permission to say or do what we want.
For decades the tobacco industry has not been permitted to advertise on network television. However, before the prohibition, their commercials were, to say the least…classic!!!
From direct sponsorship of television shows to some of the craziest commercials you may have ever seen, they flooded the airwaves with messages proselytizing their deadly and highly addictive products.
We recently discovered one of the craziest cigarette commercials of all time. and you would not believe who are the prime stars!
The Flintstones!!!
In this clip, the Winston tobacco company has hired Fred Flintstone and little Barney Rubble as pitchmen for their brand. In this advertisement, we get to see Barney and Fred shirking their chores to go around back for a cigarette break.
Watch the commercial:
The Flintstones became an instant classic and the most successful animated television show in history since its debut in 1960. It was sort of “The Simpsons” of its day.
At the end of the day, it comes down to common sense. In my opinion, only you are responsible for the decisions you make and not Fred and Barney or whoever you see on the commercials.
Even though I am against smoking, I must admit that I find this commercial better than most of the prime time shows these days!
However, cigarettes are killing those who are using them but alcohols kill innocent people, and yet we still have alcohol commercials?
Ironic right?
Who remembers this commercial?
Natalie D. is an American conservative writer! Natalie has described herself as a polemicist who likes to “stir up the pot,” and does not “pretend to be impartial or balanced, as broadcasters do,” drawing criticism from the left, and sometimes from the right. As a passionate journalist, she works relentlessly to uncover the corruption happening in Washington. She is a “constitutional conservative”.
I guess Im old, I remember that one.
