According to Q Political, the Sea Chanters were founded in 1956 as a way to increase morale and heighten spirits during difficult times.
We found this video which features the Sea Chanters. They are introduced as “The Jersey Boys” before their performance at the 2014 U.S. Memorial. They cover hits by The Four Seasons such as “Big Girls Don’t Cry” & “Walk Like a Man”. Their talent made me respect our Navy sailors on a whole other level!

Just as the music starts they begin singing, you’ll notice how amazingly talented the Sea Chanters are. They’re such captivating performers that I forgot they are not professional singers!

Wish we could replace some of Hollywood with your uplifting and clean charm and talent. These young Navy Men and Women have more talent and character in their little fingers than any of Hollywoods entertainers display in live performances and on the screen!
