VIDEO: Sheriff Pressed on Identity of Suspected Idaho Sniper Who Killed Firefighters — His Response Raises More Questions Than Answers
Something isn’t adding up in Idaho—and the Sheriff’s answers aren’t helping.
Two brave firefighters are dead. A third is clinging to life. And the man suspected of ambushing them in cold blood on Canfield Mountain has been found dead, sniper rifle nearby. But when local reporters pressed Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris for details about the shooter’s identity, his response was… a hard no.
“We’re withholding that information until the area is secured and the investigation is complete,” Norris said, flanked by federal agents and refusing to even confirm basic facts about the killer.
According to Norris, the suspect was tracked through a “cellphone activation” and found dead in rugged terrain, surrounded by the very wildfire he allegedly ignited to lure emergency responders to their deaths. But here’s where it gets strange: the FBI, ATF, and fire investigators from multiple cities are all involved, and yet no name, no photo, and no motive have been publicly disclosed.
Even more eyebrow-raising: the body was “scooped up” quickly due to fire risk, and the sheriff says they’ll be returning later for more evidence. Was this shooter already known to authorities? Why the federal silence? Why are the details coming out in pieces?
“This was a total ambush. These firefighters didn’t have a chance,” Norris admitted.

And he’s right. This wasn’t a tragedy—it was an act of terror. A deliberate, calculated trap.
So where’s the transparency?
As the fire burns and the community grieves, DOJ is once again tight-lipped. We’ve seen this before: selective disclosure, political handling of violence, and silence when it doesn’t fit the narrative. If this had been someone flying a Gadsden flag, the name and life story would already be front-page news.
But instead, we’re told to “wait.”
In a country where law enforcement officials can’t even name a domestic terrorist after a double homicide, the public has every right to be skeptical—and angry.
Here’s what the people think about this:

I’m shrewd, passionate, learned and energetic, God-fearing and patriotic. I’ve done a fine job reintroducing good old American conservatism to a new generation of Americans. I’ve earned the love and friendship of many, the hatred of some, but the respect of all.

Let the officials do their job!!!!!!! A little respite and understanding what has to be done goes a long, long way in getting the correct answers.
It’s becoming from the deafening silence that this doesn’t fit the white racial MAGA shooter profile, so Pam Bondi is going to ensure that it’s going to disappear down the same memory hole as the Epstein & JFK files.
Yep. If it was MAGA it would be shouted from every mountain top
The public has a right to know, and the authorities have an obligation to be transparent and truthful.
