Video: Fired Connecticut Teacher Weeps After Threatening Trump Supporters – But Wait Until You Hear Her Final Words

Annie Dunleavy, a 30-year-old Special Ed teacher from Wallingford, Connecticut, tearfully resigned from her position at Chapman Elementary School after a video of her threatening Trump supporters went viral. The clip, originally posted to a private Snapchat channel, showed Dunleavy saying she’d leave Trump supporters “on a stretcher” if they “tested their gangster” on her.

The fallout was swift. Facing an onslaught of backlash, Dunleavy was placed on administrative leave before ultimately resigning from her “dream job.” She addressed the controversy during an emotional interview with News 8, claiming the video was misunderstood.

“I was in a moment of high emotion, and I shouldn’t have posted,” she said, tears streaming down her face. “It’s my life’s dream to be a teacher. I love my kids. I’d do anything to help them and their families.”

Despite her contrition, Dunleavy doubled down on the bizarre justification for her remarks. When asked what she meant by her violent threats, she said, “I wanted to basically just say, like, I’m not going to go down without a fight.”

The video has sparked heated debate, with critics labeling Dunleavy’s behavior as unprofessional and unhinged. Social media erupted, with many questioning her suitability as a teacher and expressing relief over her resignation.

“Also, they aren’t your kids, lady,” one user quipped. “Why do they always say that? Creepy. Good riddance.”

While Dunleavy pleaded for understanding, the damage had already been done. Her on-air breakdown—complete with a news anchor reading back her words verbatim—did little to sway public opinion.

They aren’t teachers, they are political propagandists. The last 4 years especially have given “teachers” the right to do the unthinkable – take a child’s innocent words and turn them into authoirty to mutilate them, without parental consent or knowledge. So threatening to assault and harm…what did anyone expect?

It might have been her life’s dream to be a teacher, but she has clearly demonstrated that she is totally unfit to be a teacher. Because of the damage from their indoctrination messages and tactics president Trump should move to dismantle the teachers union that they hide behind.

Spot on. When you have the Liz B. Anns in charge of the two major teachers unions constantly going on unhinged anti-Trump, anti-conservative rants, the less intelligent sheep in the rank and file start to believe such behavior is acceptable. I don’t know if Trump can do anything about the unions, but he CAN, and SHOULD, abolish Jimmy Carter’s Federal Dept. of Education.

She’s not so tough now, is she. Nobody should feel sorry for this twit. I retired from teaching after 20 years (2nd career), and we were constantly reminded that teachers were held to a “higher standard.” There’s no way she didn’t know that her unhinged actions wouldn’t have consequences. I was wondering if that kind of behavior was considered “normal” in a state like Connecticut, and I’m glad to see that it isn’t. This beast shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near other people’s children, and hopefully she doesn’t have any of her own.
