Video: Daughter of Heroic Bystander Who Intervened in Kansas Parade Shooting Describes Shooter’s Demeanor – A Perspective Overlooked by Mainstream Media
The hero couple apprehended and disarmed one of the Super Bowl parade gunmen say their ‘fight or flight’ instinct took over when they tackled the fleeing shooter to the ground.
Trey and Casey Filter, of Wichita, were in the crowd with their children when the when shots rang out during the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory celebration.
Trey said he saw a ‘flash’ and heard people yelling ‘tackle him’ before rushed towards the suspect and ‘started racking him in his ribs’, as he yelled out ‘F your gun!’
Casey also leaped into action, picking up the weapon – an apparent assault rifle – from the ground and moving out of the way in what she has described as a ‘fight or flight type of deal’.
Trey held the suspect down until police arrived and handcuffed him, telling the New York Post that he stood up to a ’round of applause’ before looking at his young children and saying: ‘Get your mother, we’re getting the f**k out of here.’
The mass shooting left a mother-of-two dead and at least 29 people injured, including a dozen children, medics have revealed.
Three people were detained and firearms were recovered. The suspects remain in custody Thursday morning, facing questions about what led to a deadly shooting. Police have not released details about the suspects or a possible motive and we can all why!
Because the motive or the color of the skin won’t fit heir narrative.

Alyssa Marsh-Contreras witnessed the moment her dad, Paul Contreras, tackled an alleged suspect in the Kansas City Chiefs parade shooting before police arrived.
“It all started off as a celebration. As soon as the celebration was done, we heard eight-10 pops. Everybody assumed it was fireworks of some sort … until seconds later, we see multiple cops chasing them,” Marsh-Contreras said.
Marsh-Contreras said that her dad jumped on the offender’s back and pushed him face-down to the ground along with another good Samaritan.
As the two men attempted to subdue the alleged shooter, a gun fell out of the suspect’s pocket, she said. Marsh-Contreras described it as a sawed-off shotgun about a foot long.
The alleged gunman didn’t say anything at the time he was tackled. Marsh-Contreras said the suspect’s jacket was covering him as her father and the other good samaritan held him down.
Marsh-Contreras described the alleged shooter as a “fairly young, upper-teens” Black male wearing what she described as a gold “worker’s jacket,” a white shirt or hoodie underneath and what she said looked to be sweatpants.
