Topeka Police Officer Aaron Bulmer Saves Autistic Child From Pond

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! For me, the video below is a footage of a miracle. It could have had the worst ending ever.

I just can’t understand why the other person on the scene is worried about getting a little wet….? Where are the parents of this child. Neglect charges may be in order.

A police officer in Topeka, Kansas, is crediting God for guiding him to a 4-year-old autistic child who fell into a pond on Sunday and would have drowned were it not for the officer, the Topeka Capital-Journal reported.

“I believe that God put me into that situation,” officer Aaron Bulmer explained. “He allowed me to be in the right place at the right time.”

Bulmer had been in the area responding to a call of an armed robbery when he noticed the child wandering around. When Bulmer drove around a second time, he saw that the child had fallen face-first into a pond.

“I believe that He directed me away from the call I was on to make sure that I found that child. That’s really been hitting me today — that God put me in that situation,” Bulmer told the newspaper.

“It definitely would have been a drowning if I would have been 30 seconds to a minute later,” Bulmer said. “That kid would have drowned. He was flailing his arms and his head was fully submerged — you can actually see that on the video.”

Bulmer’s body camera captured the entire extraordinary rescue. ABC News noted that no details about the boy’s condition were given by either the police or the hospital where he was taken for treatment.

You can watch the amazing video of the rescue here:

This is all God. The child only had seconds to live. Praise you Jesus. Bless this officer for listening to you.
