Tell Me We Need Term Limits Without Telling Me—Nancy Pelosi’s New Video Says It All!
A recent video showing 84-year-old Representative Nancy Pelosi struggling to walk with the aid of two canes has reignited the debate over implementing term limits for members of Congress. The footage captures Pelosi being escorted by her security detail to a vehicle, moving slowly and appearing frail.

This incident follows a fall in December 2024 during an official trip to Luxembourg, where Pelosi sustained a hip injury after tripping on marble stairs. She subsequently underwent hip replacement surgery at a U.S. military hospital in Germany.
Critics argue that such episodes highlight the need for term limits, suggesting that prolonged tenures can lead to diminished physical and cognitive abilities, potentially impacting effective governance. The sight of a long-serving representative in such a vulnerable state underscores concerns about the aging leadership within our government.
Advocates for term limits believe that introducing fresh perspectives is essential for a dynamic and responsive legislative process. They contend that career politicians may become disconnected from the evolving needs and concerns of their constituents.
While experience is invaluable, the recent events involving Pelosi have intensified discussions about the balance between seasoned leadership and the infusion of new energy in Congress. As the nation observes these developments, the call for term limits gains renewed attention, prompting a reevaluation of how best to ensure effective and representative governance.

I’m shrewd, passionate, learned and energetic, God-fearing and patriotic. I’ve done a fine job reintroducing good old American conservatism to a new generation of Americans. I’ve earned the love and friendship of many, the hatred of some, but the respect of all.
term limits are a democrates dream. they have 100s lined up for their turn at the wheel. conservatives at too busy working creating a life to go. the answer is to get good people in and when they are not remove them.
A President Trump how about you remove the healthcare detail from Nancy Pelosi. I’m sure in the USA ID you’ll find that she has five healthcare workers or that Secret Service agents that are carrying her ski poles?
Nancy’s been stealing enough money from the people that she can fund her own security! That witch needs to fend for herself with all the rotten funding everyone’s finding! Nancy, haven’t you been in charge of the Democrats and spending and the purses they say?
While I despise Nancy and think she should be gone, she is actually doing pretty good in recovery from hip replacement surgery. That’s all I have that’s positive concerning her.
When will she face charges for her failures on J6? Why isn’t McConnell facing the same scrutiny? He was Senate majority leader and we now know he was in on the decisions for security that day. Everyone wants justice to be equal but I’m not hearing anything about McConnell facing scrutiny? He continues to blame Trump for everything while he was also part of the security decisions. I hate to bring common sense into the discussion but somebody has to.
They are both the epitome of why we need a cap on time you serve in elected office. Federal employees should also have a cap. The founders wanted it to be a civic duty to serve your country not a career. Like Jury Duty. I don’t think 12yrs is unreasonable for elected or employees. And I don’t think the founders envisioned anyone in government getting a lifetime of pay and all the benefits that come with it. You want to save money let’s pull back these perks. Of course Congress will never pass anything close to this, they can’t even pass term limits or campaign finance reform.
Aw, cry me a river.
