Nithya Raman Flips the LA Mayoral Race with a Stunning 43,000 Vote Swing — The Origin of Those Votes Raises Serious Questions

Nithya Raman has suddenly taken the lead over Spencer Pratt in the race for Los Angeles mayor after a massive late vote swing.

As additional ballots continue to be counted days after Election Day, Raman has pulled ahead to 27.1% while Pratt sits at 26.7%. The winner of this contest will face incumbent Karen Bass in the November runoff.

On election night, Pratt held a solid lead of roughly 40,000 votes. That lead has now completely vanished, replaced by a net swing of more than 43,000 votes in Raman’s favor.

Spencer Pratt called it out directly:

He also noted the suspicious coincidence of the number 43,000 — the same approximate figure as Los Angeles’ homeless population.

This isn’t the only anomaly raising eyebrows. Internet observers have pointed out several troubling patterns in how these late votes are falling:

– Late mail-in ballots appear to be boosting only Raman, with almost no corresponding increase for fellow Democrat Karen Bass. In a heavily mail-in city, that selective surge is highly unusual.

How did a blue city only increase votes for Nithya by mail, without increasing votes for Karen Bass?

– There was the now-infamous late-night ballot drop where one candidate received exactly zero votes out of more than 24,000 ballots — despite polling strongly beforehand. The statistical probability of that happening naturally is effectively zero.

– The mayoral race somehow produced over 12,000 more votes than the high-profile California governor’s race — the exact opposite of what you would normally expect, as more people typically vote in top-of-ticket races.

On election night, Raman herself appeared to concede. She broke down in tears and apologized to her family for failing — which made sense given her poor polling and debate performance. Now, after days of counting, she’s surging while the rest of the field stays flat.

This is the same California system that has accepted ballots with smiley faces instead of signatures, produced massive late drops with bizarre patterns, and turned voting into a weeks-long process. The extended counting window through June 9 (with final results not sealed until July 6) gives plenty of time for questions to mount.

Spencer Pratt is right to keep fighting and pointing out where these votes are coming from. When the numbers shift this dramatically and this selectively days after the election, voters have every right to demand real transparency and answers.

The people of Los Angeles deserve an election they can trust. Right now, too many aspects of this count are raising serious red flags that cannot simply be dismissed.

At this point, Americans kind of deserve this. We’re like the battered wife who just keeps staying. We all knew the Democrats would cheat…and we watched them do it while wringing our hands and stomping out feet. But we still just watched them do it. Again. As we fail to fix the elections. Again. Like I said, at this point, we kind of deserve this because we refuse act to change it.
