New Attorney General Jeff Sessions Is Ready Make Huge Changes

Talk about change we can believe in! Sen. Jeff Sessions,  as attorney general would be nothing short of a game-changer for the rule of law, sovereignty, and our security.

Trump’s Attorney General Jeff Sessions just did something to support cops Obama never did. And Black Lives Matter is trembling in their boots.

There is no part of the federal government that is more vital to our system of government, yet more damaged by the Obama years, than the Department of Justice. Whether it’s immigration law, domestic crime, jailbreak, crushing the states with lawsuits, or religious liberty concerns, the Justice Department stands at the nexus of the most important issues of our time. If there was ever an agency that must be cleaned out from top to bottom, it’s the DOJ. And no man is better suited for that job than Senator Jeff Sessions. He will promote equal justice under the statutes passed by Congress. Moreover, he can serve as a watchdog to ensure that other areas of the federal government are following the letter of the laws passed by Congress.

This past year saw the highest number of law enforcement fatalities in five years. 21 cops were ambushed, shot and killed.

According to Jonathan Thompson, Executive Director, and CEO of the National Sheriffs’ Association, there is one reason for this assault on law enforcement.

Thompson said,

“Over the past few years’ law enforcement has been missing a key component to succeed in their jobs — federal government support.”

“While law enforcement is asked to do more and more with the ever-changing world of terrorism and public safety, the current administration has rolled-back much of the progress achieved through decades of effective policing through qualitative and quantitative resourcing.

In return, the nation’s crime rates have risen faster than at any time in our modern history.”

“While the mood toward law enforcement at the federal level has degraded we now see how out of touch this administration has been with the public.

The dialogue between the administration and those charged with protecting us has grown outright hostile, making their jobs even more difficult and dangerous.”

Whoa… is that bad Obama. Thompson continued,

“Law enforcement is gratified by the support and with a new executive branch administration comes new promise.

Law enforcement knows that we have a federal partner with the nomination of U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions to be Attorney General of the United States.”

“The nation’s sheriffs and deputies know Sen. Sessions will support them because throughout his career he has been a crime fighter who seeks justice fairly.”

“Sessions supports solutions important to sheriffs and the law enforcement community. He understands the importance of the 1033 Program that provides excess, protective resources and equipment law enforcement needs to carry out their duty.”

“Sheriffs and deputies wake up each day knowing their lives may be in danger to keep our communities safe and protect the rule of law. They look forward to having an active ally in Attorney General Sessions to support them and do whatever necessary to make America safe.”

Wow. Imagine what a difference actually having an ally in the Federal government will make for law enforcement.

I’m totally against BLM. I’m against violence toward cops or anyone. But one needs to address problems that the cops have. A big one can’t policing for profit. In many states cops steal from citizens. They need to protect our rights. People are still being arrested and harassed for filming cops or just filming in public. Inland boarder checks need to stop. These drunk driving checkpoint, drivers license checkpoint, seatbelt checkpoint safety checkpoint needs to stop or at least carried out properly. An attorney was arrested for telling her client not to talk to the police. There needs to be a better way to deal with cops when citizens have a complaint . There needs to be many changes in the laws and how cops deal with citizens. Use to be innocent until proven guilty. Now your guilty until you can prove your innocent. I hope soon to be president Trump can fix this can as well.
