VIDEO: Trump Pressed on Epstein Tape Cut—Pam Bondi’s Defense Only Raises More Eyebrows

President Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi faced a barrage of questions Friday over the mysterious one-minute gap in the newly released DOJ video footage from outside Jeffrey Epstein’s jail cell.

During a press conference, a reporter asked why the surveillance video—touted as definitive proof that Epstein died by suicide—conveniently skips from 11:59:00 p.m. to 12:00:00 a.m. without explanation.

Before Trump could respond, Pam Bondi jumped in to defend the DOJ, claiming the one-minute gap was due to a “camera reset” and insisting that there was “no evidence of tampering or wrongdoing.” But her attempt at damage control did little to calm the firestorm.

“That’s a waste of time,” Trump snapped, cutting the question short and dismissing the entire issue. “We’ve already addressed this.”

But for many Americans, the explanation isn’t cutting it.

The Department of Justice and FBI released a heavily publicized 10-hour video earlier this week, supposedly to clear the air once and for all about Epstein’s death. Instead, the public quickly spotted the minute-long missing segment—right in the heart of the critical overnight window in which Epstein died.

The gap has only fueled more speculation, especially given the DOJ’s previous statement denying the existence of any Epstein “client list” and reiterating their claim that Epstein acted alone and died by suicide.

Critics say Bondi’s rushed explanation and Trump’s dismissive response aren’t helping perceptions. “This isn’t a tech glitch—this is national trust being shredded on camera,” one X user posted.

The Gateway Pundit and others have called for an independent review of the footage and transparency from DOJ officials.

For now, the Epstein mystery—and the public’s doubts—are far from resolved.
