Video: Ron DeSantis Asked About Being Trump’s VP, Trump Responds And Expose The “Real” DeSantis

During an interview on Newsmax in June last year, Donald Trump was asked if he could “envision a world” where there would be a Trump-DeSantis ticket in the next election cycle.

In response, Trump did not dismiss the idea and instead played down any suggestions that there’s a rift in the pair’s relationship following continuing speculation DeSantis wants to challenge for the presidency, setting up a potential fight against his longtime ally for the GOP nomination.

“Well I get along with him. I was very responsible for his success because I endorsed him [for Florida governor] and he went up like a rocket ship,” Trump said.

However, recently things have changed drastically.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was asked whether or not he would like to be Donald Trump’s vice president.

DeSantis said he has no interest in being Trump’s running mate.

“I think I’m probably more of an executive guy,” DeSantis said on “Eric Bolling The Balance.”

“I think that you want to be able to do things. That’s part of the reason I got into this job is because we have action.”

“We’re able to make things happen, and I think that’s probably what I am best suited for,” DeSantis added.

Trump, who has launched a barrage of attacks on the Florida governor before he has even entered the 2024 Republican presidential primary, said in an interview he has never considered asking DeSantis to be his 2024 running mate.

Trump was asked on Newsmax about DeSantis not considering to be his vice president.

“Was that ever an option for you?” Trump was asked.

“No, I never thought of it. I think that we have a lot of great people in the Republican Party. I never thought of it. But, you know, some people every once in a while mentioned it, but that’s about it,” Trump responded.

“People don’t know this about Ron: Ron was a disciple of Paul Ryan. And Paul Ryan was a loser,” Trump commented.

Trump maintains that even if DeSantis decides to run for president, he can’t win. He likens the governor’s record to establishment Republican figures like former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush or former House Speaker Paul Ryan, pointing out that DeSantis’ voting record in Congress includes voting to raise the retirement age to 70 in 2013.

Unaware of this. Head-shaking. Still, he’s done great things in FL. Wonder if this leopard has changed his spots?
But let’s face it – I trust absolutely NO politician!

It’s all hype and BS, they change their minds whichever way the winds of money blow.
Bitter enemies this week, telling the masses how great each other are the next week.

DeSantis is NOT a strong person though. Yes he has done his ‘own thing’ or at least he wants you to think it was him orchestrating it all but he’s bought and paid for, and he’ll be a typical republican (ie a good little boy) if he got in, and cave and do the bosses beckoning. Look how quickly they caved on the disney tax thing once a few million was thrown into him and his cronies election campaigns.

If there is on thing I have learned about R’s over the last 50 or so years, they are snakes just as slithery as the D’s if not more. At least the D will tell you he’s about to screw you, the R will smile to your face and say, yah I stabbed you in the back, it’s nothing personal, just doing business.

You really can NOT trust them. There is no loyalty there, just coin operated they are.
