Video: Philadelphia Teen Serves An Armed Robber Instant Justice After He Attempted To Steal From His Mom – He Now Starts His Legal Battle
Surveillance video shared on social media of a shooting inside a Spring Garden pizza shop last month appears to contradict portions of the initial account shared by police, including the assertion that the shooting victim was shot after he tried to strangle the mother of the teenager who ended up firing on him.
The 28-second video instead shows the would-be robber forcefully reaching for the register — not the cashier — in an apparent attempt to steal money. Within seconds, a 14-year-old behind the counter pulled a gun from his waistband and fired from point-blank range, the video shows. Police had initially said the teen grabbed the gun from beneath a counter.
Bullet or bullets went through the head of one robber and hit the ear of another robber.

The video is circulating because the police are ready to charge the teen according to local sources!
Police also initially said the teen — who they said was the 14-year-old son of the woman working the register — had grabbed the firearm from under a countertop. But the video shows he pulled the gun from his waistband, then shooting the robbery suspect in the face.
In their initial account, police said the man had “started to strangle” the cashier, but the video shows the man reaching for the register.
A bystander was just feet away when the shot was fired.
The man struck by the bullet ends up slumped over the cash register as the video ends. Police said he ultimately made his way to the nearby Spring Garden stop of the Broad Street Line, where officers found him and took him to Jefferson Hospital in critical condition.
The robber is still in critical condition!
The gun was legally owned by the mother but Phladelpha’s anti-gun policies will surely prevent the teen to use that in his defense!
The mother and the son said that this wasn’t the first time they are attacked by local gangs!
This video right here is the definition of playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes. If you attempt to rob a store and attack a young man’s mother and he’s armed, bullets are going to fly through the air.
If you try to rob someone and your victim is packing heat, you’re going to find out real fast that bullets are fast and they hurt like hell!

I’m shrewd, passionate, learned and energetic, God-fearing and patriotic. I’ve done a fine job reintroducing good old American conservatism to a new generation of Americans. I’ve earned the love and friendship of many, the hatred of some, but the respect of all.
In the video it is impossible to tell that he pulled it from his waistband. He did make a move near the counter, he could have grabbed the gun there. At his waist, he could easily have been chambering a round. If he did lie and actually had it in his waistband, I can’t blame him. He likely would have assumed that if it were in his waist band it was an illegal conceal.
2nd amendment does not say anything about any of this BS where a gun was or who had it what it does say shall not be infringed
Where do we send contributions to this hero’s defense fund? He did exactly the right thing.
Instant vigilante justice is what American needs now.
Start with the Leftists in power first, then do the Leftists in the legal system.
No harm; no foul.
The SOB got what he deserves!!!
Better judged by 12…
Hopefully we can crowdfund the kid and get him a “killer” lawyer. Anyone? I’m not up on how to those kind of things.
Nice shootin’ Tex!
One less urban ape to collect welfare and commit crimes. That’s all they ever do.
Good , another dead criminal … Well Done !
I’m sure the kid was in fear of his life and in fear that the life of his mom was in jeopardy. Perfectly justified aggravated battery. Exigent circumstances justified shooting the perp.
Nobel Prize Winner Dindoo Nuffins won’t be anyone else’s baby daddy.
I saw this video when it came out. I thought that there would be legal problems, given that the suspect wasn’t assaulting anyone. The shooter being under the age of 18 is another problem as it is illegal to possess a handgun if you’re under 18. Now, on top of that it appears that they lied to the police, as well. If you’re going to carry, know the rules, and follow them. Maybe, being 14 he could be believed when he said that he feared for his mother’s life. I hope so. Don’t feel sorry for the suspect at all. He got what he deserved.
The mere fact that we have somehow litigated ourselves into the notion that burglars and robbers in the act are not liable to be shot is fucking insane.
Considering all the assholes out here talking about dangerous precedence being set by near talking points online, we seem to not care if we give criminals the idea that they can do what they like with no fear of reprisal
The kid did not own the gun, his mother did, and it was located in the business area for protection. He did have access to the gun, no different than a kid grabbing a gun in the home to ward off the threat of thugs. The commotion at the counter and the mother’s interaction with the thief gave the kid good enough reason to protect her and shoot. I would have done the same.
Suspect???
NOT !!!
You’re damn right the criminal got what he deserved. I would have done the same thing at that age to protect my mother. Those things go down in seconds and the fear and adrenaline are rampant. His mother was still very much in the action and in danger. Good for the kid !!!
HAHAHA, too funny
Well done, young man. Thank you.
Call Biden, he will applaud the robbers, and send the 14 year old to the electric chair.
….what is a lad supposed to do but protect his mother?
The animal deserved what he got. Kudos to the shooter. Justice served.
That was beautiful and technically perfect
made my day
I dont understand. He was attempting to steal money, I didnt see a weapon. Why shoot?
all crooks need to be shot
Seriously? Should they have just let this trash walk off with their hard earned cash? He should have fired a few more times to make sure the other one was in critical condition also !
Anyone stealing money should consider that he may be shot.
The store is on private property, they OWN it. If he has a gun, in the store, and is under the direct supervision of an ADULT, on their OWN PRIVATE property then F U it’s legit. Dead thieves are good thieves PERIOD> Good for you Son, you are a MAN, don’t let anyone tell you differently.
They are saving the thief is in critical condition.
That is a terrible shame.
I hope someone goes into the hospital and unplugs the POS dirt bags life support and rolls the heart monitor onto the oxygen tube.
Why should he go to court at all? We all have the constitutional right to defend ourselves, family and property. He did what was necessary to stop this robbery. The only ones who should go to court! Personally, I hope that one of them doesn’t make it to court. FJB
Robber got exactly what he deserved
Citizen: 1. Thug: 0! Good shooting youngster! I love a story with a happy ending. Now, all you citizens in Philly need to make your voices heard in demanding that the 14 year old NOT be charged with anything!
I think he did the right thing.
Always remember!
No blacks, know peace!
Know blacks, no peace!
Nice Shot.
Another one bites the dust. And another one’s down and another one’s down . . .
ANOTHER ONE BITE’S THE DUST!!
ain’t no shortage of criminals, so . . . one less ain’t gonna make a difference. The risk/ reward ratio for these types of crimes needs to be seriously changed in favor of the good guys! Good shootin’ kid!! Good luck in court.
The teen should not have to face any legal battle over this incident. Plain as day the robber was up to no good and had asked for what he had gotten.
Live a thugs life, die a thugs death. Righteous shooting as far as I’m concerned – the clerk’s son de-escalated the situation and possibly saved his and his mother’s lives..
Best part: The robber’s cash falling out of his thieving hand as he slumps over the counter.
Love it. They absolutely got what they deserved, I don’t care how old he was or where he got the gun. That can be sorted out later. Bravo young man!
