Video: Pelosi’s Drunk Rant During Her Latest Press Conference Sounds Really Racist

During remarks at the U.S. Capitol Friday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., claimed they need immigrants “to pick crops.”

“Right now, the best thing that we can do for our economy is to have comprehensive immigration reform,” Pelosi said while discussing the national imperatives of both securing the border and welcoming newcomers. “We have a shortage of workers in our country, and you see even in Florida, some of the farmers and the growers saying ‘Why are you shipping these immigrants up North? We need them to pick the crops down here.'”

It’s racist, plain, and simple, and the sooner Pelosi is out of our collective hair, the better a Congress we will have.
Is she just drunk often or is old age catching up to her? Who knows, but it’s certainly not making for good governance.
Nancy was accused of racism even by her own, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez accused the speaker of singling out women of color in remarks that drew rebukes from some fellow Democrats last year.

Pelosi’s remarks come as the U.S. remains in the throes of a historic border crisis which has seen more than 2.1 million migrant encounters this fiscal year, and more than 200,000 migrant encounters in August alone. It is the ongoing nature of the crisis that has led Republican governors to bus and fly migrants deeper north. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has bussed more than 10,000 migrants to Washington D.C., New York City and Chicago – while DeSantis sparked outrage from Democrats when his office flew about 50 migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
