Video: New Yorkers Asked About Far-Left Politician Zohran Mamdani—And Their Reactions Say It All

If Democrats thought Zohran Mamdani’s radical win in the New York primary was something to celebrate, they might want to take a closer look at how actual New Yorkers feel about him—and it’s not looking good.

In a Fox News segment that aired Wednesday on The Faulkner Focus, everyday people in New York City were asked about Mamdani—an openly socialist, far-left Muslim candidate backed by AOC herself—and their responses should be a loud siren for the Democratic establishment.

“I just think Mamdani would be terrible for the city,” one man bluntly stated. “It would implode the city.”

Another echoed the concern: “I don’t support him. I think he’s too radical.”

From government-run grocery stores to free-for-all promises with no explanation of how to pay for them, Mamdani’s platform sounds more like something out of a failed communist state than a serious mayoral campaign.

“He’s an idiot,” one man said flat-out.
A woman summed it up perfectly: “He thinks he’s gonna give everything free—where’s the money gonna come from?”

Even the idea that Mamdani could make it past the general election is raising alarms. With former Gov. Andrew Cuomo running as an independent and Mayor Eric Adams still holding ground, the stage is set for a major three-way battle—and Mamdani may find out just how out-of-touch he really is.

And yet AOC is proudly parading Mamdani around D.C., praising his vision for “affordable” living in New York. Translation: more taxes, more regulation, and less freedom.

This video is a wake-up call: even Democrat voters are pushing back against the extremist direction of their party. Will they listen before it’s too late?
