In Hautes-Vosges, France, a group of fed-up farmers decided they weren’t going to wait around for authorities to do nothing—again. Every year, hundreds of illegal squatters from a so-called “travelling gypsy community” invade their grazing lands, set up camp with caravans, and basically dare anyone to stop them.
And every year, police shrug and walk away.
But this year? The farmers had a new strategy: liquid cow manure.

Suddenly, things started moving fast.
Local courts stepped in after the fact, and a judge reportedly ordered the squatters—about 500 of them in 200 caravans—to pack up and leave within 24 hours or face legal consequences.
And guess what? They left. All of them.
One of the farmers told The Sun that after years of being ignored by authorities, this was the first time they actually saw results. And while the air may have smelled like a barnyard battle zone, it also reeked of sweet, sweet justice.
