Unsealed Documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s List Reveal a Significant Presence of Celebrities, Including Renowned Figures such as George Lucas and Oprah Winfrey, Alongside Unexpected Names (Screenshots)

On Wednesday, multiple court records naming friends and associates of infamous sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein were made available to the public.

The names of famous illusionist David Copperfield, late singer Michael Jackson, and former president Bill Clinton have been revealed, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.

This controversial list of Epstein’s associates was released nine years after Virginia Giuffre filed a defamation case against his co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell. This led to the naming of various individuals in the depositions that now make up the “list.”

On page 139 of the unsealed documents, it included a deposition given by Jeffery Epstein victim Johanna Sjoberg.

In the deposition, Sjoberg was asked if she ever met anybody famous when she was with Jeffry Epstein, to which Sjoberg replied Michael Jackson.

Sjoberg continued to share that she met Michael Jackson at Epstein’s home in Palm Beach, Florida.

She was then asked if she had ever given Michael Jackson a massage, to which Sjoberg replied, “No.”

Later in the deposition, Sjoberg noted famed magician David Copperfield also visited Epstein’s home to perform magic tricks.

Sjoberg claimed that Copperfirled was present at dinner at Epstein’s home, where he allegedly “did some magic tricks.”

“Did you observe David Copperfield to be a friend of Jeffrey Epstein’s?” Sjoberg was asked, to which she responded in the affirmative.

Sjoberg was also asked if Copperfield “ever discussed Jeffrey’s involvement with young girls with” her. “He questioned me if I was aware that girls were getting paid to find other girls,” she replied.

She added in the deposition that Copperfield withheld certain details from her regarding that question. Sjoberg was also asked, “Did he say whether they were teenagers or 20, anything along those lines?” and she responded that the illusionist didn’t.

These documents reveal a list of surprising names, sparking renewed interest in the scandal. Yet, the presence of these individuals doesn’t necessarily implicate them in any criminal activities or involvement in Epstein’s abuses but it could.

Marca reported that the list features a diverse array of individuals from various sectors, including George Lucas, Marvin Minsky, Alan Dershowitz, Michael Jackson, David Copperfield, Pope John Paul II, Oprah Winfrey, Jean Luc Brunel, Leslie Wexner, Tom Pritzker, Bill Richardson, Al Gore and Stephen Hawking, among others. It is crucial to note that these mentions do not imply guilt but rather establish associations with the case.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Cameron Diaz, Bruce Willis, and Kevin Spacey are passively mentioned and the witness denies ever seeing them on the 109th page of this document!
More than 150 names are expected to be unsealed in total, leading to speculation the veil may lift on the powerful figures in the multimillionaire predator’s orbit who may have avoided public scrutiny in the wake of damning allegations he trafficked teenage girls for sex for decades. The judge previously said most of the names were already out there. Along with Epstein-linked associates, the identities of several victims were unsealed.
