Trump Wakes Up Early To Rant About Bombshell Marjorie Taylor Greene Resignation and Wow, It’s a Classic Trump Masterclass!
President Trump was up before the sun this morning, and he was not in a forgiving mood.
At 6:45 a.m., he dropped a Truth Social post that lit up phones across the country: Marjorie Taylor Greene is out, effective January 5, and he’s calling her “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown” because “Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!”
The nickname is savage, but the rest of the message is pure vintage Trump: a mix of backhanded gratitude (“I will always appreciate Marjorie, and thank her for her service to our Country!”) and a brutal takedown of her poll numbers, her alliance with Thomas Massie (“the WORST Republican Congressman in decades”), and the fact she “went BAD” after he stopped taking her calls.
Social message posted at 6:45 AM that featured characteristic insults:
Marjorie “Traitor” Brown, because of PLUMMETING Poll Numbers, and not wanting to face a Primary Challenger with a strong Trump Endorsement (where she would have no chance of winning!), has decided to call it “quits.” Her relationship with the WORST Republican Congressman in decades, Tom Massie of Kentucky, also known as Rand Paul Jr. because he votes against the Republican Party (and really good legislation!), did not help her. For some reason, primarily that I refused to return her never ending barrage of phone calls, Marjorie went BAD. Nevertheless, I will always appreciate Marjorie, and thank her for her service to our Country! President DJT
Greene’s resignation video dropped Friday night like a grenade. In it, she compared staying in MAGA to being a “battered wife,” accused the movement of selling out to neocons, Big Pharma, and the donor class, and basically said she’s done if Trump won’t fight for the Epstein files the way she wants.
Trump’s reaction was instant. He told ABC’s Rachel Scott on Friday night, “I think it’s great news for the country. It’s great.” Then he woke up Saturday and let the keyboard do the talking.
The whole thing feels like the end of a marriage that started with fireworks and ended with scorched earth. Greene was once Trump’s loudest cheerleader in Congress. She flew to New York for his arraignment, defended him on every network that would have her, and built her brand on being the most MAGA member in the room. Now they’re trading insults in public, and the base is picking sides.
Some are furious at Greene for “betraying” the president. Others think Greene got too big for her britches and forgot who made her a star in the first place. Either way, her Georgia seat is now wide open for a 2026 primary bloodbath, and Trump’s endorsement will decide who gets it.
One thing’s already made clear he’s not giving it to her.
It’s messy, it’s loud, and it’s exactly the kind of drama the Democrats are praying for while they try to claw back seats next year. But love him or hate him, when Trump swings, the whole country feels it.
