Trump Is Up at 5:58 AM, and What He Revealed About Reuters Should Make Them Really Worried
In a recent early-morning post, President Donald J. Trump highlighted a concerning revelation: Reuters, a prominent news agency, received $9 million from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for a project described as “large scale social deception.” This disclosure raises significant questions about the integrity of both the media and government institutions.
The contract in question, awarded to Thomson Reuters Special Services LLC, is titled “Active Social Engineering Defense (ASED) Large Scale Social Deception (LSD).” While some experts suggest that Reuters was enlisted to help defend against large-scale social deception rather than participate in it, the optics of such a partnership are troubling.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), also weighed in on the matter, stating, “Reuters was paid millions of dollars by the US government for ‘large scale social deception’. That is literally what it says on the purchase.”

This situation underscores the need for transparency and accountability within our institutions. The American people deserve to know the full extent of the relationship between the media and government agencies, especially when taxpayer dollars are involved in projects that could influence public perception.
President Trump’s call for Reuters to “GIVE BACK THE MONEY, NOW!” resonates with many who are concerned about potential conflicts of interest and the erosion of trust in our nation’s pillars. It’s imperative that we demand clarity and uphold the principles of a free and independent press, untainted by undisclosed government collaborations.
