Secret Service Is Investigating Reports That An Object Was Thrown At President Donald Trump’s Motorcade

The Secret Service can confirm that an object appears to have been thrown at the motorcade this afternoon”, a spokesman for the intelligence agency told members of the President’s press pool. “We are investigating at this time and don’t have anything further”.

According to ABC News, law enforcement said the object was a rock. It didn’t hit the presidential limo, but another vehicle in the motorcade.

The incident happened near his Mar-a-Lago resort as the motorcade traveled from the airport. It was not clear if any of the vehicles were struck and what was thrown.

No one was hurt.

A large number of police officers and Secret Service agents gathered at an intersection along Southern Boulevard. A group of protesters had been at the corner when the motorcade passed.

A rock the size of a baseball could be seen at the scene as well as a small chunk of wood that was examined on the ground. Agents went into nearby stores and a gas station seeking video.

A crime scene unit from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department collected the two items and carried them away in brown bags.

The Secret Service was unable to immediately provide further details.

One thing is for sure next time when someone attacks our president limo will get a nasty surprise!

The new Cadillac One limo has been rolled out for the new president.

It is going to replace a dozen limos Obama had and they are thought to be stocked with weapons that will stop any rioters. These include a powerful shotgun and tear gas.
