Robber Pulls Gun On Wrong Clerk, Iraq War Vet Shoves 9mm To His Mouth

Worse idea: holding up a store clerk who is not only proficient in firearms but who also happens to be an Iraq war veteran and a former prison guard and private investigator.

Of course this hapless would-be thief had no way of knowing that behind the counter was a 30-year military veteran with four tours in the Iraq war to his credit, and a Walther PPX 9-mm sidearm he always carries, loaded, with one in the chamber.

And so when the hapless crook pulled out his weapon and declared he was about to rob the liquor store, Alexander did what any combat vet would do, immediately pulled out his own weapon and shoved it in the mouth of the surprised thief, which was captured on the surveillance video.

Alexander interviewed by the local news media said of the incident; “One of the policemen told me later, ‘You’re a lucky man,” Alexander responded, “I think he [the robber] is a little luckier than I am.”

Max Dawson, the store’s owner, said he had been a victim of burglary so many times in the past four years he thought the bad guys deserved to be shot.

He approved of Alexander’s actions.
Jon Lewis Alexander, 54, is no ordinary store clerk. He has worked several “high risk” jobs and served four tours of duty in Iraq during his 30 years in the U.S. military.

And his training shows.

Video surveillance from Saturday night captures the moment a would-be thief entered the Marionville, Mo., store where Alexander works. The thief hesitates for a moment and pulls a gun — but not fast enough to dissuade Alexander from pulling his own Walther PPX 9 mm handgun and sticking it in the hapless thief’s mouth.

No one was hurt and no shots were fired.

Great job by the vet. Keep it clean so not to get in any legal mess. Great job. Proud to be an American vet myself.

Should have given the sewer rat a lead appetizer. The sewer rat drew first, doesn’t deserve to live as intent to harm was shown.

Ok obviously a reenactment. Since when does a surveillance camera move around or zoom out?
