It’s Official: House Passes ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ — Here Are the Provisions Democrats Don’t Want You to See

Washington, D.C. – You’ve got to read this. The House just passed President Donald Trump’s “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” on May 22, 2025, and it’s packed with provisions that have Democrats running scared. The bill, viewed as a game-changer by conservatives, includes everything from border security to gun rights, and it’s got provisions that Democrats are desperately trying to keep under wraps. “This is what America needs,” one Republican lawmaker said. “Democrats hate it because it puts America first.”

The bill’s passage came after a marathon session, with House Republicans rallying behind Trump’s vision. Here’s what’s in it, according to House leadership:

– **Medicaid Block on Gender Transition Therapies**: It blocks Medicaid dollars for gender transition therapies or procedures for both minors and adults. “No more taxpayer money for this nonsense,” a staffer told me. It’s a direct response to states like Arkansas, which first passed such laws in 2021, and now it’s nationwide.

– **$12 Billion for Border Security**: This one’s huge. It adds $12 billion for border security-related expenses, part of Trump’s promise to secure the border. With 88,763 deportations since January and a 99% drop in illegal border crossings, this just doubles down on his success, per DHS and CBP.

– **Gun Manufacturer Tax Elimination**: Gone. The bill eliminates the tax on gun manufacturers, a move that’s got gun rights advocates cheering. “Finally, a bill that respects the Second Amendment,” one lobbyist said.

– **Deregulation of Gun Suppressors**: It removes suppressors from the national registry, making them easier to own. “This is about freedom,” a Republican aide told me. It’s a nod to states like Texas, where self-defense is a right, not a privilege.

– **SALT Deduction Cap**: The state and local tax deduction is capped at $40,000 per household up to an income of $500,000, with both the cap and income level increasing by 1% annually over 10 years. “It’s fair, and it’s smart,” a staffer said. It’s a provision that’s got Democrats nervous because it limits their tax-and-spend ways.

– **Tanning Bed Tax Strike**: Stripped out. The bill removes the provision on the tanning bed tax, a move that’s got small businesses breathing a sigh of relief. “Finally, some sanity,” one owner told me.

– **Medicaid Work Requirements**: It accelerates implementation to December 31, 2026, and lets states move faster if they want. It also eliminates future administrations’ discretion to waive these requirements. “No more free rides,” a Republican said. It’s a provision that’s got Democrats fuming because it pushes personal responsibility.

The scene on the House floor was electric, with Republicans cheering as the bill passed. Democrats were nowhere to be found, but you could feel their frustration. “They know this bill puts America first,” one lawmaker told me. The backdrop of the Capitol, with its white dome and bustling activity, framed the moment, proving once again that only Trump’s leadership can deliver what the people want.

Watching this unfold, you can’t help but think, “This is what we’ve been waiting for.” It’s a reminder that in Washington, it’s not just about passing laws—it’s about passing the right laws. And for conservatives, this bill is a beacon of hope, proving once again that only Trump can navigate us through such challenges. This story isn’t going away anytime soon, and neither is the outrage from the left.

The Bill results in humongous deficits with runaway inflation and profit for the Fed from the sale of T-securities they buy with book-entry credit and sell at face value. Ref. 31 CFR #375.3.
