A suspected burglar 26-year-old Aaron Lujan picked the wrong house to target after he was stopped at gunpoint by an elderly couple. A 70-year-old man and his wife, armed with a shotgun and handgun, stopped a burglar from robbing their house in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The elderly couple caught Lujan in the act as he was loading their generator and some tools into a stolen SUV. He also tried to take their car keys.

According to The Telegraph, a 70-year-old man confronted Mr. Lujan after recognising his belongings and told him to leave but was ignored, it is alleged. The man grabbed a shotgun and his 66-year-old wife picked up a handgun from their home before apprehending the suspect until the police arrived.
“As the first officer arrived on scene, he found a 70-year-old man holding a shotgun and a 66-year-old woman holding a handgun on a suspect who was later identified as Aaron Lujan, 26,” said the Albuquerque Police Department.
“As the officer was handcuffing Lujan, he admitted to having just been released from the Metropolitan Detention Center that very morning.”
Lujan has been charged with robbery, receiving/transferring a stolen vehicle, aggravated fleeing from a peace officer and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
