Election Integrity Alarm: Multiple Spencer Pratt Voters Say Their Signatures Were Rejected and Ballots Thrown Out — Here’s the Letter They’re Getting

Multiple voters who supported Spencer Pratt in the Los Angeles mayoral race are reporting that their ballots were rejected because of signature issues — and they’re receiving official rejection letters telling them their votes won’t count.

This isn’t an isolated complaint. Since 2020, more than 200,000 Californians have had their ballots rejected, often over signature mismatches. Without voter ID requirements, the entire process relies on subjective signature verification that many believe can be manipulated or inconsistently applied.

Here’s the letter voters are getting when their ballots are thrown out:

One voter shared a side-by-side comparison of their ballot envelopes from different elections, questioning whether their vote was even counted this time around.

This comes as the same election has already produced massive late ballot swings, including the now-infamous 43,000-vote flip that put Nithya Raman ahead of Pratt after election night. When voters who supported one candidate are suddenly having their ballots rejected while others sail through, it raises serious questions about fairness and transparency.

California’s system has become a national embarrassment. Ballots with smiley faces instead of signatures have been accepted. Late-night drops have produced statistically impossible results. And now, legitimate voters are being told their signatures don’t match — with no easy way to fix it in time.

If a machine can identify your party registration, people have every right to ask whether the signature verification process can be selectively used to suppress votes for certain candidates.

Spencer Pratt voters aren’t the only ones raising alarms. This pattern of rejected ballots, combined with the endless counting and bizarre vote swings we’ve already seen in this race, is exactly why so many Americans have lost faith in California’s elections.

Voters deserve real safeguards — starting with voter ID. Until that happens, stories like this will keep coming, and the questions will only get louder.
