Tucker Carlson will be moving into Kelly’s coveted 9pm time slot after his own show earlier in the night hit #1 in the demo soon after it aired.
With his explosive interviews and hard-hitting topics, executives think Carlson is their best choice to anchor the 9pm time slot.
“Tucker has already proven to be an audience powerhouse at 7 PM, now sky is the limit!” an insider explained. “FOX NEWS will not be tamed.”

Tucker Carlson show hit #1 recently due to his expertise and tough interviews.
Kelly is reportedly expected to take over the 9 a.m. ET slot on NBC, replacing the “Today” show’s third hour with her own talk program.
She’ll also host a Sunday evening newsmagazine show and contribute to NBC News’ political, breaking news and special events coverage.
Van Susteren said earlier this week that she’s considering returning to television, but would not confirm rumors she may be joining MSNBC.
