Matthew McConaughey Is Weighing In On President Donald Trump

In a recent interview, Matthew McConaughey was asked if it’s about time Hollywood gives the president a break. “Well, they don’t have a choice now,” the actor coyly replied. “He’s our president.

Did he stun the world? If you ask me no he just tells us the truth what every real American should do!

And it’s very dynamic and as divisive of an inauguration and time as we’ve had. At the same time, it’s time for us to embrace and shake hands with this fact and be constructive with him over the next four years.”

In light of Trump’s recent immigration ban, Matthew’s quotes about tolerance are even more striking considering that his wife, Camila Alves, immigrated from Brazil. See what else he has to say around the 2:41 mark.

The actor’s wife, Camila Alves, was born in Brazil but decided to stay in Los Angeles after visiting the city to see her aunt at the age of 15.
McConaughey is well known for his southern charm, remarkable acting skills, and his recent address at the Oscars where he thanked God and said that his blessings in his life have come from the Almighty.

Will this support for our president hurt Matthew McConaghey career?(video below)

After working as a housecleaner and waitress, she found success as a model and officially became a U.S. citizen in 2015. Which make this interview even more interesting

Many of McConaughey’s fellow actors from Hollywood attacked recent Trump immigration ban but maybe they should listen to McConaughey, maybe it is time that we stand together as one nation!(video below)

I never liked him that much but I respect him. When did being honest become a bad thing?
