Dallas Principal Holds Meeting with Over 100 Students Telling Them They “Were the Reason the School Had a B Rating” – Race Card Leads to Her Dismissal!
If this doesn’t expose the toxic rot of race-baiting in our schools and how the radical left turns everything into victimhood, nothing will—a Dallas principal held a segregated assembly with over 100 Black students, blaming them for the school’s B rating from the Texas Education Agency, only to get replaced amid backlash for playing the race card. Chandra Hooper-Barnett, also a black American, principal at Woodrow Wilson High School, called the kids in to discuss their “academic performance” based on achievement, progress, and college readiness metrics. A mother, Jennifer B, shared her son’s account: “[My son] said that Principal Barnett stated that those students, the black students, were the reason why the school had a B rating.” She added, “I was really shocked she would say something like that.” Hooper-Barnett apologized in a letter, admitting the meeting was “not appropriate,” but the damage was done—she’s been ousted.

She just took the kids with bad grades for a meeting, but why make it racial? “She just took the kids with bad grades to have a meeting about it. Why does everything have to be about race? Nothing will ever be fixed if you can’t speak the truth. This is DEI lunacy at work, blaming race instead of addressing real issues like failing policies under Biden-Harris that lowered standards.
Conservatives are outraged: this segregation echoes the left’s “affinity groups,” but when a Black principal does it, it’s still wrong. Parents demand accountability—teachers should inspire, not blame. Pray for these kids; their future’s brighter without race-baiters.

She was being honest with them, probably because she loves them and wants them to break from a culture of failure! God bless her. She is black too so she felt she could talk with them and be honest. (Perhaps she should have called in all low achieving students of any race and lectured them all. How would I know, because this woman is the principal and if there is a problem, she knows best what the problem is!)
My wife and I are amazed at how well the kids in our local high school get along with each other. We live in a rural conservative area but there are as many black and Hispanic students as there are whites.
In our society, it seems that the “real” racists are adults, particularly women stuck in the Civil Rights era, with white, liberal women being apologists and black women forever carrying a chip on their shoulders. They white liberal women believe they are changing the world (they’re not, it’s changed in spite of them) and the black women who resent whitey. Both are racists in their own way because they can’t let go of seeing skin color in all of us.
Typical “RACIST” charges. She addressed the kids with bad grades, they just happened to be black. If she had addressed only black kids with bad grades and not white kids, that would be racist. The black kids just happened to be the problem. If a cop arrests a criminal who happens to be black, is that racist. If a criminal runs into the black part of town and the cop goes after him, is that racist? The cop doesn’t know if the perp is white or black – only that he ran that direction. The common charge is “RACIST”, why do cops always presume the perp is black? Start them young. Teach kids to play the race card for every reason, right or wrong. Do you think those kids with bad grades will try to improve? Probably not – the last person to mention it was fired. They can all now graduate without learning reading or writing or math. After all, who will dare to mention they are not learning anything. MAYBE A POTENTIAL EMPLOYER?
