What’s not to like about President Trump?? He is a smart, patriotic business man who knows what needed to be done to make our country great again. In an interview that aired Thursday on the Christian Broadcasting Network President Trump told Pat Robertson:
“We have to rebuild our country. Our roads, our bridges, our tunnels, our schools. We will have in another few months, have spent $7 trillion in the Middle East. Seven Trillion.”
This number falls in line with the high end of expenditure studies. A Brown University study said: “By 2053, interest costs will be at least $7.9 trillion unless the U.S. changes the way it pays for the wars.”
He is right. His platform is about bringing jobs back and infrastructure updates and this is a great way to do that. He is a business man and that is his field of expertise.
Trump went on to say: “And then if you want to spend two dollars on building a school in Iowa, or in Pennsylvania, or in Florida, they don’t want to give you the money. How ridiculous is this?”
Trump added that the U.S. got “nothing” from all of its engagement in the Middle East, even though in the past 16 years the United States is toppling the governments of Afghanistan, Libya, and Iraq.
“The Middle East is a mess,” Trump said. He added that he is there for only “one reason,” and that is to “get rid of the terrorists.” This only shows how determent President trump is to eradicate terrorism once and for all, unlike the previous government.
“We’re almost there. We have really made headway,” Trump commented about this fight against terror.
Sounds rather sensible. President Trump is right! If we throw our money away trying to help other country’s we will never fix our own! Let’s fix America and then we can move forward!
Sadly, Trump haters will find something wrong with it!
I have never understood why we give money to Suadi, Kuwait, and the other rich oil countries. In fact, why do we give money to ANY country? They don’t give us a damned thing in return.
I hope President Trump will stick to what Pat Robertson was told. America’s infrastructure needs to be repaired and rebuilt. That’s way more important than pissing away precious dollars on foreign wars!
