Obama had no authority under the Constitution to executive order DACA. Now, Trump is setting it right, nullifying Obama’s unconstitutional order and giving Congress 6 months to figure something out. Congress makes the laws. Not Obama.
However, the fact is Americans have been neglected for way too long.
This is why on Tuesday Press secretary Sarah Sanders defended the Trump administration’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy with a six-month delay saying that “it’s not cold-hearted” for President Trump to “uphold the law.”
Sanders said: “It’s not cold-hearted for the president to uphold the law. We’re a nation of law and order and the day we start to ignore the fact that we are that, then we throw away everything that gives these people a reason to want to come to our country.”
“If we stop becoming the country that we were envisioned to be, then we throw away what makes us special, which makes America unique. This president is not willing to do that — the previous administration was — this one isn’t.”
Sanders said that the president was doubtful about this decision and acknowledged that it “was not an easy one” for Trump, who has been firm on immigration reform.
“He wants to be able to make a decision with compassion, but at the same time, you can’t allow emotion to govern.”
But we want to have real solutions. We want to have laws that address these problems, but it’s Congress’s job to legislate, not the president’s. And we actually want to uphold the Constitution, and I think people across this country should be celebrating the fact that they have a President that is standing up and upholding the Constitution as he was elected to do.”

Sarah is one smart woman and doesn’t back away from a question. The mainstream media does not have a chance against her. Enjoy watching her.
She is absolutely right. This is our country and we want our laws upheld. It’s now time for Congress to do their job! Legislate!
