Our youth need to learn that actions, all actions, have consequences…..some good…some bad. While tragic the lost of a young boy is, the fault is only his own for making bad decision to break into someone’s home. I guess the lesson to learn here is don’t break into someone else’s house or you might end up dead!!!
In March of 2016, a Miami homeowner who was defending herself shot a thug who attempted to rob her home. It should have been an open-and-shut case — and to the police, it was.
The woman used her Second Amendment rights and fatally shot a man who was robbing her home. But now, the relatives of a 17-year-old are angry the teenager was shot and killed by a homeowner and blamed the homeowner, claiming she had no right to shoot him for robbing her house.
Johnson’s family spoke out against the homeowner for killing their relative — and what they said is absurd.
Johnson’s cousin Nautika Harris said: “I don’t care if she have her gun license or any of that. That is way beyond the law… way beyond. “He was not supposed to die like this. He had a future ahead of him. Trevon had goals… he was a funny guy, very big on education, loved learning.”
She added: “You have to look at it from every child’s point of view that was raised in the hood. You have to understand, how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point of view.”
“How else was he going to get his clothes?”- Woow this is absurd!!! Well if you’d go get a job then maybe you could buy some, just because you’re from the “hood” doesn’t mean you have the right to steal from people to make money! What kind of logic is that?
Also..to justify his extracurricular activity as a thief because he grew up in the hood!? Seriously!!? This is what’s wrong with society today.
