Unlike Obama where every strike had to be approved by Obama…Trump trusts the military enough to let them decide when a military strike is to be allowed. “Trump authorizes”-and that is what a leader does. He hires people good at what they do and authorizes them to do it. Refreshing.
Via Washington Free Beacon: “U.S. forces have been instructed to take all measures needed to protect American interests in Syria, including military measures, as part of an effort that comes after top officials in the Trump administration assessed that Iran is deliberately probing American weaknesses and reactions on the Syrian battlefield.
“That was very clearly a process of the Iranians and Hezbollah and [the] Syrian regime probing and testing our limits, and testing how much we were willing to do,” one senior Trump administration official said. “In every case, it was a matter of them testing and probing, and us responding by defending ourselves.”
“Iran-backed forces, including Hezbollah, have already initiated multiple encounters with the United States by violating agreements worked out between Washington and Moscow aimed at preventing the various factions targeting ISIS inside Syria from coming into conflict.”
“This is part of a campaign that analysts inside and outside the White House believe is aimed at testing the Trump administration’s resolve.”
We need to let our military do their job because they trained for this kind of fight.
This is a big commitment, we need someone with a steady hand. I’m glad we have Trump over Hilary or Obama. He’ll have the backbone to stand up to them and the brains to listen to his military advisors.
Finally, we have a Real President in our White House. After 8 years of an empty chair or worst with a Muslim determined to take down America. That is Obamas Legacy. It’s too bad he wasn’t running Iran the past 8 years instead of the Great USA. Or was he?
Make America Great Again.
