Syrian-American aid worker Adham Sahloul who survived the chemical weapons attack in Moadamiya said that he will name his son after President Trump.
He added: “This man is a hero. He has b***s. This will give people hope. It’s all about hope. This is a game changer; it’s a new era that shows that America will actually do something. It shows there are real red lines in Syria.”
This guy is right…after all, this why we elected Trump! He has guts!
Telegraph reported that Syrians have had mixed reaction to the US strikes, with some cheering and hailing them as marking an end to Bashar al-Assad’s impunity, while others said it would achieve nothing.
Syrian-American aid worker Adham Sahloul told the Telegraph from the southern Turkish town of Gaziantep: “Assad made a monumental miscalculation this time. The US’s response at the moment has been a slap on the wrist, but one that could change the calculus in Syria. The regime might just change its mind next time it thinks of targeting civilians.”
He added: “Lots of pro-Obama or anti-war folks saying things like “this doesn’t change anything” and “Trump doesn’t care about Syrians” as if we don’t know these things and are just stupid people looking for America to save us.
“It’s sort of like when a kid loses a game and ruins the game board for everyone and says “it’s just a stupid game” “I don’t even care”. I wouldn’t want to have been on the wrong side of history, either.”
Remember when we looked back in history and said why didn’t someone do something when Hitler was gassing all those innocent people ? We did this time !! The redline means something with this President.
