Do you people realize that the rest of the world is laughing at the US because we seem to have a problem knowing which bathroom to use? We’re talking about less that 1 percent of the population trying to force their”feelings” on everyone else.
It’s really simple! Man to the left, because women are always right!! There is no middle!
After President Donald Trump yanked former President Barack Obama’s guidance on transgender bathroom, the issue has once again become a major controversy in America.
KFOUR reported that the Steak and Catfish Barn restaurant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has found itself at the center of this debate after a sign that has been at the restaurant for over 10 months was photographed and went viral.
“We do not have a transgender bathroom. So don’t be caught in the wrong one,” read the sign, which apparently has made some transgenders feel unsafe.
Paula Schonauer, who was born male but lives as a woman, claimed that the sign was an implied threat against transgenders. Other liberals were similarly triggered by the sign and what they perceived as a threat of violence.
“I was disturbed,” Schonauer said. “It was really a letdown.”
She said the message is discriminatory and the last sentence scares her.
“That sign has an implied threat and a threat that’s very real to me,” Schonauer said.
Troy Stevenson, a member of the gay rights advocacy group Freedom Oklahoma said: “You’ve got this sign implying a threat of potential violence against somebody for going to pee. That’s not the Oklahoma standard. That’s not what it means to be American. That’s just wrong.”
Bob Warner, the owner of the restaurant, has defended his sign by explaining that it was for his customers’ own safety and didn’t carry any threat of violence.
“We have a lot of redneck guys that come in here. Truck drivers and everything. They’re big husky guys and I said, ‘man alive!’ If their wife or their little girl walked in that bathroom and a man followed them in there, I wouldn’t have a restaurant,” he explained.
He said the intent of his message is to protect his property and customers, including those who are transgender.
“I don’t want to see nobody hurt,” Warner said.
Warner also noted that if a transgender person is dressed “appropriately,” they can use the bathroom in his establishment.
This sign portrays what a lot of people feel but won’t say.
Leave our restrooms the way the are meant to be! Of all the REAL problems in the world today this sure isn’t one of them. Get over yourselves and try facing reality for a change!!
