If you want a job, you abide by the rules of the employer. You don’t sue to change the rules. If you don’t like the rules, work someplace else. Some Muslim employees of Amazon claimed they were being discriminated against because they weren’t allowed to take five ten-minute breaks a day to pray and a prayer room to do it in. No one forced them to work for Amazon. These people can just get over it, quit, and go home.
According to Mad World News, Muslim security guards employed by Amazon subcontractor, Security Industry Specialists, have filed suit against the company saying the employer doesn’t accommodate their religion and that they discriminate against those who speak out about it.
Amazon is already required to give employees two 10 minute breaks and 1 hour for lunch for an 8-hour workday. Add in the additional 50 minutes of time off that Muslims are now asking for, and you get a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes off during 8 hours of work – and they expect to be paid for the time they’re not working as well.
The lawsuit is not off to a good start for the Muslims, however, as Amazon and the security contractor have come forward to completely refute the allegations. This indicates that they plan to fight the lawsuit in court to the best of their abilities.
If we, America, give in to all demands by these people, or others who come to America, we cease to be America. Nobody wants to stop those who wish to practice their religious beliefs, but you can not change the fabric and laws, of this country, to accommodate those religious beliefs! Further, for those that leave their country because of religious persecution and no freedoms, why the hell are you trying to change our country to do same? The left shouts the loudest in respect to separation of religion and state. And yet when these people want to change that status, the left supports them, but not when it is the Christians!
If you want Shariah law, go back to a country that has it. We in OUR COUNTRY don’t live by your law. Goodbye! God Bless America!
