A counter-protest against Just Stop Oil saw a ‘celebratory banquet’ interrupted by rape alarms tied to balloons.
Just Stop P****** People Off has been taking action against the anti-oil campaign group in recent days, surrounding protesters and trying to reduce the impact of their protests.
Just Stop Oil was hosting a ‘Beyond F****d Banquet’ in London on Sunday in order to ‘step back, grieve for what will die and disappear but also to celebrate what we have achieved’, offering campaign updates, stories from people ‘in resistance’, plant based food and music.
The group – which this week clashed with JSO as they prepared to march on London – was revealed to be led by British YouTubers Josh Pieters and Archie Manners.
They shared today how they had sent a mole ‘undercover […] for the past few weeks’ to ‘help stop Just Stop Oil’ as public opposition to the group mounts.
Video from inside the event showed ‘the mole in place’ and their team releasing balloons as JSO members looked on.
