We remember a time if you made any threats towards the president or any federal building it was considered one of the most criminal offenses and you were prosecuted and could face life in prison. We need to start exercising that!

Threatening the President of the United States is a class E felony under the United States Code Title 18, Section 871.

Madonna just wanted another reason to bounce around in front of a camera and flap her big mouth without considering the consequences. If the law does nothing about it, shame on them. But the American people who are sick of hearing these crazies spout off hate and threats can do something. When people quit watching, listening to, or buying any of their movies or CD’s, then consequences will come around. I am done with many of the actors I use to watch, who think it is ok to threaten the American President and his family. I never listed to this crazy to begin with, but I think she blew herself up instead of the capital.

Write an email,post your objection to the U.S. Attorneys website, Write your Congressional letters to convince them to take action and legally make an example out of her, at the same time sending a clear message to anyone that want spew threats against the President, that are clear and severe consequences for doing so. First of all, when a private thought is spoken, it’s no longer a private thought! And as for the law that possibly has broken? (Working ion the premise of innocent until proven guilty) Perhaps you should get familiar with U.S. Code Section 879 of Title 18. “A prosecution under 18 U.S.C. § 879 would not only require proof that the statement could reasonably be perceived as a threat but would also require some evidence that the maker intended the statement to be a threat. Objective circumstances would bear upon the proof of both subjective intent and objective perceptions.” Madonna crossed the line when she made that “private thought public”. That’s the first step in committing a crime! “the thought”. The difference with your thought of robbing a bank, and stating it. According to what you just said, you never verbalized in a non joking manner or just, or acted on that thought.Being rich, famous and popular doesn’t make you a genius.
