Liberals Calls For Removing Trump From Office With 25th Amendment

Establishment propagandist and Washington Post opinion writer Richard Cohen penned the piece in which the power structure floats yet another possible way to steal the election from Trump and the American people.

“Donald Trump is a one-man basket of deplorables. He is a braggart and a liar. He is a bully and a demagogue. He is an ignoramus and a deadbeat, a chiseler and either a sincere racist or an insincere one, and his love for himself is matched only by my loathing of him. He is about to be president of the United States. A constitutional coup may be in the offing,” writes Cohen.

Cohen goes on to whine about Trump cabinet picks not being able to “moderate him” before delving into a plan taken straight from the popular TV show “24” in which a president is removed from office through the use of the 25th Amendment.

Ironically, Cohen apparently doesn’t realize that in the show this is used by corrupt actors to remove a legitimate president.

The amendment opened the door for removal if a president was deemed to be unfit for office, different from an impeachment hearing that typically centers around investigating if a president acted illegally while in office.

There are two options to remove a mentally unfit president, which were helpfully laid out step-by-step by Fusion. The first option requires a majority of the president’s cabinet — positions such as secretary of state and secretary of defense — joining together with the vice president to declare the president is unfit.

The second option requires the vice president to convince a majority of the House of Representatives and the Senate to decide the president is unfit. Both chambers of Congress then submit a letter stating such, which removes the president from power.

You can view the 25th Amendment!

Amendment 25: Presidential Disability and Succession aka Get him outta there, get him out

1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.

2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

3. Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, and until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such powers and duties shall be discharged by the Vice President as Acting President.

4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

This gives the Cabinet an opportunity to take Trump down if they wanted to. Liberals are demanding that they consider it—but it’s unlikely that Mike Pence would stand behind such a measure.

What do you think? Is it time for liberals to just face reality?

This is the song that doesn’t end. It goes on and on my friend. Some people sarting singing it not knowing what it was and they’ll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that doesn’t end………
Maybe they should, as we did, give him a chance. I never heard a single thing that convinced me that he was racist or intolerant. That kind of thing I have heard consistently from the “tolerant” Liberals! Hmmm…didn’t like your girl and her buddies being caught with their pants down. So sad!

This is unreal and unattainable. Its about time for people to come together and not use hate to get what they want. Our president has done nothing illegal. Get over it and go on with normal life. Fighting over things that are not attainable is actually hurting the country.

This idiot forgot 63 million people voted for this man. Do you Hillary, Barack, and Lynch figure out why Trumps major cabinet members are EX MILITARY. Why do you think he is so popular with law enforcement. Who is Obama and others going to call to overthrow the government? Hollywood?

President Trump is doing what is best for the American people. Though half of them haven’t taken the time to realize it.
He wants the government to be – By the People, and For the People, as it should be.
There is nothing in that, that would suggest he is not of sound mind.
Though he is trying to keep us all safe, he is being fought in every single direction.
And- Mike Pence would never sign up for any of this………

The dirty Dems are showing their true colors — communist red — and they are going down. They are the real Deplorables. President Trump is different and he was chosen by millions of fed up people. We are taking our nation back to sensibility. The middle class refuses to go down. Things will change, as we help Trump drain the swamp. We are on the move. Yes, this is a populist movement for sure. Cohen is a jerk wad.

Making changes in the proper places, being able to negotiate with world leaders that were never before negotiable. Must really be hard on the spirit to constantly hate. Get over it democrats, time to move on, PRESIDENT TRUMP is doing a fine job!

It is time to check this biased media. This is sedition, it is detrimental to the country and it’s people. The FCC should be requested to investigate and recommend whether these media outlets are acting in a responsible manner consistent with the rules under broadcasters licensing agreements.
This has to stop. Outright lies are being reported by talking heads who by Thier own body language appear to know what they are saying is absolute BS.

The mental case people are the ones that can’t face reality!! President Trump was elected by the people.
The mental cases don’t understand they don’t represent the people. We love Trump and think he is desperately trying to be a good President. If he could spend more time doing the Presidents job instead of dealing with junk of the attackers and the Democratic party. We’re beginning to feel sorry for all there anxiety problems.
