President Trump is the only one that actually does something at all when it comes to North Korea and in return, he got attacked on every corner about his action against the crazy dictator!
North Korea has a reputation of behaving badly for decades. Knowing that the former President Obama was soft and was all talk but no action, the North Korean leader Kim Jong is taking some wrong steps apparently thinking that it will be the same with our new president Donald Trump.
President Donald Trump held nothing back in his speech to the UN moments ago.
He called North Korean dictator by his new nickname again among other highlights.
President Donald Trump delivered his first address to the United Nations Tuesday in a speech that espoused nationalism, while at the same time threatening multiple “rogue regimes.”
Trump campaigned on a nationalist platform and at times criticized the UN itself and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
“As President of the United States I will always put America first,” Trump said at the UN General Assembly, adding that all nations should seek to put their own people first.
He praised the importance of sovereignty. “We do not expect diverse countries to share the same traditions … or even systems of government.”
Trump went on to demand democracy in Venezuela, warn North Korea that the U.S. might have “no choice but to totally destroy” the country, criticize the “criminal regime” of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and say the Iran nuclear deal is an embarrassment, while suggesting that the people of Iran might rise up in revolution
He said that “Rocket Man” Kim Jong Un is on a “suicide mission.”
The scourge of our planet today is a small group of rogue regimes. “No one has shown more contempt for other nations and for the well-being of their own people than the depraved regime in North Korea.” The president made it clear, in the presence of North Korean diplomats, that if North Korea does not change course, the U.S. and its allies may be forced to destroy the regime.”
Tough talk but necessary to deal with this growing threat don’t you think? He called them out more with some hard truths the world must see before it is too late.
“It is responsible for the starvation deaths of millions of North Koreans and for the imprisonment, torture, killing, and oppression of countless more,” the president explained. Trump cited the death of Otto Warmbier, an American citizen detained in North Korea for over a year, the assassination of Kim Jong Un’s half-brother with banned chemical weapons, and the kidnapping of foreign citizens as examples of the regime’s brutality.”
North Korea’s reckless pursuit of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles threatens the entire world with the unthinkable loss of human life,” Trump added. North Korea has launched around twenty ballistic missiles this year and tested a suspected staged thermonuclear bomb which can be mounted on a ballistic missile, including North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile.”
Then he dropped the bombshell.
“No nation on earth in seeing this band of criminals arm itself with nuclear weapons and missiles,” Trump told the general assembly, “The United States is a nation of great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.”
“The United States is ready willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary.”
