What is going on in the world today? Nothing is sacred anymore. This is just sad.
A horrifying tragedy happened in a small Texas church on Sunday after a gunman opened fire inside a Baptist church in Sutherland Springs, a town 40 miles east of San Antonio. Wilson County Commissioner Albert Gamez Jr. reports that nearly 24 people may be dead.
After the sad tragedy happened President Trump offered his deepest sympathy for those who died in this tragedy and wrote on Twitter: “May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted shortly after the incident was reported: “Our prayers are with all who were harmed by this evil act. Our thanks to law enforcement for their response. More details from DPS soon.”
Texas Senator Ted Cruz also responded: “Keeping all harmed in Sutherland Springs in our prayers and grateful for our brave first responders on the scene.”

This is sad and scary. As Americans, it is our duty to find a solution. In my opinion, this is one more reason for concealed carry laws in every state. When the scum bags are the only ones with guns, decent people are left undefended. How much fewer would have died or been wounded if someone had returned fire?
So saddened by the loss of innocent lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those lost in this tragedy. My condolences to the victims and their families. Praying for this church family.
