CIA chief Trump is an ‘avid consumer’ of intelligence

Mike Pompeo, Trump’s new CIA chief is a lot different from anyone you will find in an Obama administration. First, he is well-respected in the national security community. That alone is a big change.

Second, he’s an army veteran. Third, a staunch pro-life advocate. He’s also an evangelical Christian.

But his latest statement just made him a legend!

CIA Director Mike Pompeo told MSNBC’s Hugh Hewitt that President Donald Trump is “incredibly demanding” of the intelligence community during an interview that aired Saturday morning.

He said President Trump is an “avid consumer” of the intelligence he’s provided and that any reports to the contrary are false.

During an interview, Pompeo said he meets with Trump “nearly every day.”

“We have 35 or 40 minutes on his schedule,” Pompeo said to Hugh Hewitt on his new Saturday morning show. That almost always runs long, which is great. Great questions. He is a serious consumer of the product that the intelligence community delivers and I appreciate that, because I think it informs how he thinks about the world.”

Allegations that President Donald Trump is uninterested in intelligence briefings related to national security could not be “any more false,” CIA chief Mike Pompeo told MSNBC’s Hugh Hewitt in an exclusive interview that aired Saturday.

Trump “is a serious consumer of the product that the intelligence community delivers,” Pompeo said.

“I cannot imagine a statement that is any more false than the one that would attribute President Trump not being interested in intelligence and facts when it comes to national security,” he added.

The CIA director said he could not confirm the Washington Post report that his agency had confirmed Russian President Vladimir Putin’s hand in meddling with the 2016 election. But Pompeo did note that this kind of attack was business as usual for Russia.

“The intelligence community has said that this election was meddled with by the Russians in a way that frankly is not particularly original,” he said. “They’ve been doing this for an awfully long time, and we are decades into the Russians trying to undermine American democracy.”

The report of Russian interference should not be surprising to anyone, Pompeo told Hewitt.

“So in some ways there’s no news, but it certainly puts a heightened emphasis on our ability to figure out how to stop them,” he added.

But the president has repeatedly refused to say whether he believes Russia waged the multi-tier campaign that disrupted the U.S. presidential election, despite the consensus of American intelligence agencies, including the CIA.

There is no “consensus” of the American intelligence community, only a consensus of the muslims installed by Obama into the highest places in the American intelligence community.

“… the multi-tier campaign that disrupted the U.S. presidential election” – a figment of the Liberal imagination and misinformation industry aka the mainstream media. You freaks keep saying Russians interfered but you can’t say how. Every allegation you have made has been refuted by the self-same intelligence community. HOW did the Russians interfere?
