Concealed Carry in Action: Pregnant Woman in Texas Faces Down Armed Robber — Constitutional Right Proven Once Again (Video)
This is exactly why the Second Amendment exists — and why every law-abiding American should have the right to carry.
A pregnant woman in Texas was minding her own business when an armed robber approached her and the man she was with in a Houston gas station parking lot. The thug pulled a gun, pistol-whipped the guy, and thought he had an easy score.
He was wrong.
The pregnant woman — eight or nine months along — pulled her own handgun from her purse and opened fire, hitting the robber multiple times. Her husband also drew and fired. The two of them held the suspect at gunpoint until police arrived. The innocent couple walked away alive. The robber, identified as convicted felon Mario Ipina Duque (also referred to as Mario Duque), was rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds but survived to face charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The whole thing was caught on chilling surveillance video that’s now going viral again.

You can see the robber come up aggressive, the pistol whip, and then the woman spring into action without hesitation. It’s raw, it’s graphic, and it’s a textbook example of a good guy (or in this case, a brave pregnant mom) with a gun stopping evil cold.
This happened in North Houston outside a convenience store on the 8600 block of Fulton around 5:30 p.m. The woman had stopped by to drop off food for her husband, who worked at the store. In a split second, she went from everyday life to defending herself and her unborn child. No police in sight. No waiting for help. Just her constitutional right to keep and bear arms — and the courage to use it.
Texas gets it. Concealed carry is a fundamental right, not a privilege handed out by politicians. In a state that respects the Constitution, law-abiding citizens don’t have to be helpless victims. They can protect themselves, their families, and their communities.
Compare that to the gun-free zones and soft-on-crime hellholes run by Democrats, where criminals know victims are disarmed and defenseless. This video is proof positive that armed citizens are the best first line of defense.
President Trump has always been crystal clear on this: the Second Amendment saves lives. He’s fought to protect it against every attempt to chip away at our rights, and stories like this remind us exactly why that fight matters. Criminals don’t obey gun laws — they only fear armed citizens who will fight back.
The pregnant woman in this video didn’t wait for permission. She didn’t call 911 and hope for the best. She acted. And because she was armed, two innocent lives (and her baby) got to see another day.
That’s the power of the Constitution in action. That’s Texas. And that’s why the right to bear arms will never be negotiable.

I posit that the criminal(s) have a duty to retreat, and any “just us” official that thinks otherwise should be relieved of all duties and made to spend a few weeks in jail with those same criminals.
Awe … we didn’t learn what happened to the shooter or the thug who deserted him.
