And let’s not forget her unwavering support for **Prop 50**, Governor Gavin Newsom’s power grab to override the state constitution and let Democrats control redistricting. If that sounds like rigging the system to lock out conservatives, that’s because it is.
Wong’s report also mentioned Pelosi’s recent remarks about hoping to see Hakeem Jeffries sworn in as the first black House Speaker — “if she’s still allowed on the floor.” That’s about as close to a goodbye speech as you’ll get from a career politician like her.
Even Pelosi’s own staff avoided denying the rumors. Instead, her spokesman focused on promoting Prop 50, saying she’s “fully focused” on winning that vote.
If true, Pelosi’s departure would mark the end of one of the most divisive political careers in modern history. From insider stock deals to her endless crusades against Trump and the America First movement, Pelosi has symbolized everything wrong with Washington elitism.
