After 50 top GOP security officials claimed that presidential nominee Donald Trump would be the “most reckless president in American history,” Trump offered up a simple reply that should leave all of them embarrassed. In a statement on his website, Trump replied, “The names on this letter are the ones the American people should look to for answers on why the world is a mess, and we thank them for coming forward so everyone in this country knows who deserves the blame for making the world such a dangerous place.”
Trump called the officials out for appearing desperate to hold onto the control they wield from Washington, claiming they were “nothing more than the failed Washington elite looking to hold onto their power, and it’s time they are held accountable for their actions.”
No kidding. If the federal government is a mess and unable to solve its domestic and international problems, it’s at least partially their fault.
Apparently, these individuals missed the news that Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton has already put the nation at risk with her reckless handling of classified information. Her incompetence even cost American lives.
There was no way Trump was going to let them get away with calling him reckless.
“These insiders — along with Hillary Clinton — are the owners of the disastrous decisions to invade Iraq, allow Americans to die in Benghazi, and they are the ones who allowed the rise of ISIS,” the statement said.
Clinton has repeatedly lied and managed to escape justice because she is one of them.
It looks more and more like these political players will do anything — even sacrifice the future of our great nation to Clinton — just to keep the same failed and ineffective status quo. After all, they have to look out for their futures, too — futures that include taxpayer-funded government contracts and speaking fees. Futures that don’t include an outsider.
Let this group of individuals threatens to take their 50 votes elsewhere — voters are sick and tired of the mess they’ve helped make, and Trump just exposed why.
